 Let me introduce myself. I'm Tony Edwards. I own Old Towne
Tattoo
Studios, in the beautiful Sonoran desert town of Tucson Arizona.
My story starts growing
up in a southern California barrio. The coastal city had
many tattoo influences on me. There were the older guys from
my neighborhood with all their cool single needle, black and gray
images. Also, there were countless marines and sailors sporting
tattoos of bulldogs, sailing ships and hula girls.
I love the
photo-realistic style of tattooing. To "nail" a
portrait or a 50's pin up and see an ecstatic customers face, is one
of the coolest things about this business. Some of my favorite
topics are, religious imagery, portraits, Aztec and Mayan images.
I also specialize in lettering, such as ultra fine script and many
other beautiful styles.
I've won awards for
"most realistic" and "best portrait." Those are
some of my accomplishments in the tattoo world. I am a member of the
National Tattoo Association and Alliance of Professional Tattooists. Sterility
in the tattooing environment is my number one priority. Next
is the dedication to do my absolute best on each and every tattoo
project I do.
